ANP Review
This was the most frustrating review book I've ever used. The information appears to be concise, organized and complete, but the review questions and answers leave a lot to be desired. In one section, 10 questions were left unanswered. In several others, answers were there, but didn't match the questions (in numerical order). Many times the answer was written correctly but aligned with the wrong letter. The CD ROM was good, but several answers did not jive with information given in the book. All in all, this could have been a great review book if ANYone had bothered to proof read it before going to print. Very dissapointed, and I'd like a refund.

A Confederate Nurse : The Diary of Ada W. Bacot, 1860-1863
Published in Paperback by University of South Carolina Press (September, 2000)
Author: Jean V. Berlin
Average review score:

Jean Berlin's Inflated Resume
I direct your attention to the back cover of this book, wherein it states that Jean V. Berlin taught history at the University of Virginia. Turns out all she was was a teaching assistant! I guess you do't have to win the Pulitzer Prize to be found out as someone who makes stuff up about themselves!

Seriosly, this sort of inflation gives writers a bad name. Let's hope it was all just a misunderstanding.

Typical ...
Nothing Ms. Berlin says in her introduction allows us to escape the fact that Ada Bacot, while pretending to assert her independence and find her self-esteem, simply came to the front and did what Dorothea Dix feared women nurses would do ... find another husband. How pathetic.

Carbohydrates: What You Need to Know
Published in Paperback by John Wiley & Sons (10 July, 1998)
Author: American Dietetic Association (ADA)
Average review score:

debunking failure
If this book was an attempt to debunk the low carbohydrate diet trend it was a total failure in my opinion. The arguments only confirmed the low carbohydrate rationale in my mind.

Nothing Here
This is one of the worst books I've read in quite some time. Fortunately I only lost a few dollars on it. There is very little of value in this book.

Disappointingly Not Good!
This book is not a good read. It is filled with stereotypical incidents. So much has changed recently and this book does not address current issues as I had expected to do so. I am sorry to say it has been a disappointment.

Sourdough Breads and Coffee Cakes: 104 Recipes Using Homemade Starters
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (October, 1983)
Author: Ada Lou Roberts
Average review score:

Not enough information
I was very disappointed in this book. Not enough sourdough starters for the average cook. For instance, "Peach Leaf Starter", "Hop Starter", etc. The book was not worth the price. Unless you want unusual recipe's, don't get this book.
